Instagram is Useful

by Michael Rogers

Okay, so after messing around with it on my phone, I found ways to make some use of Instagram.

It wasn’t easy.

I still stand by original criticisms of Instagram. For a guy like me, who’s very much about web development, working from a cell phone can be tedious.

Instagram is Useless

by Michael Rogers

I seriously forgot just how utterly useless Instagram really is.

To start off I created an Instagram account today. Actually, I’d forgotten I had one already, which just shows how useful it was to me before.

Anyway…

I starting putzing around with it and realized, HEY! I can’t upload anything to it from a computer! How worthless is that?

Seriously.

I really don’t have much use for cell phones. Not when it comes to graphic design anyway.

Repressed Thinking Bothers Me

by Michael Rogers

People sharing memes, sharing memes, sharing memes. It irks the fuck out of me sometimes.

I despise the whole “me too” thing.

What Oscar Wilde said is even more true in our time than in his own when he wrote: “Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.”

Twittering II: Electric Boogaloo

by Michael Rogers

Yeah, I’m tweeting even more

So okay.

Before she died three years ago, my mother had a Twitter account she began in 2009. It’s ten years old now.

Basically, she posted three times to it, got bored, and went back to what she was doing with Facebook.

A couple of weeks ago, I began reading up on Twitter bots. I read different accounts about how Twitter is anywhere between fifteen percent to possibly nearly all bot users.

Well, bots and Donald Trump.

The more I thought about it, the more intriguing it became. I could create a Twitter bot. I could have it post stuff for me. I dunno…

Twitter is for Twitting

by Michael Rogers

Does anyone besides Donald Trump actually use Twitter?

Okay, obviously I’m using it now, but let me explain it…

It makes for a really cool and easily update-able side bar for this web site. I love making memes. I thought about creating a gallery for them, but meh…

Too much work.

Then it just occurred to me to just have a Twitter account, like I used to, and I can just dump all the memes there and use their embed thingie as a side bar deal. It works really well, and it’s simple as hell to keep updated.

So if people follow it, or not, I really don’t care. My girlfriend, Ginamarie, follows it, and that’s pretty much it. She never logs into Twitter. She basically logged in so she could follow what I was doing there and hasn’t logged back into it since.

XX. Twenty Years of Damnage

by Michael Rogers

That’s right…

Damnage began in 1999 primarily for me to have a means to play around with CGI/Perl scripting. Stuff like The BlackList Top 100 was what I enjoyed messing with the most when I was 27.

I’ll be 47 this year.

In 2019, damnage is more about uplifting consciousness and freeing humanity from its enslavement.

Damnage always had its occult bent. I was always interested in hidden knowledge. I still am.
